Do you have a bucket list? I don’t care how old you are or where you are at in life, I am asking you to sit down and dream. Dream of the things that you want to do before God calls you home.
I have a bucket list. One of the things on my list is driving a race car. I would love to go really fast in a controlled environment. I would also like to hike an 11 mile (one way) trail in Kauai. One day, I think (not sure on this one yet) that I would like to skydive. Crazy, stupid stuff that might take me closer home than I bargained for.
The point is you need to dream, princess. You need to allow yourself to look forward to something and to take a chance every once in a while. God wants you to dream big. Dream about places to go, things to see and people to meet. The world is a big place just waiting to be discovered.
Jeremiah 29:11-13 – “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”
See, God has dreams for you. Plans to grow you in ways that you cannot imagine. You will never know those dreams unless you develop a relationship with Him beyond Sunday morning. It is fun and unexpected. You never know what door God is going to open for you if you are watching for them to open.
So, princess, go ahead and make that bucket list and dream. Just remember to check with the Creator of dreams on the path He wants you to take.
