1 Thessalonians 5:18 – “give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
Do you celebrate often? You should. Celebrating doesn’t mean that you have to throw a party or go out for a fancy dinner. Celebrating can be many thanks to God shared with several different people. Celebrating is sharing God’s goodness immediately.
I love to celebrate the little things in my life. We celebrate good grades, making it through a tough day and standing up for what we know is right.
When you have brought many things before The Lord and they are answered, celebrate! But be careful. Don’t celebrate your abilities. Celebrate God’s blessings!
If you look at the two verses prior to our key verse they say two things: “Be joyful always; pray continually” (16,17). Sounds like a good enough reason to me to celebrate. Prayers being answered brings joy which leads to a celebration. How about that!
So today, princess, look back on your week and celebrate the little things. Celebrate answered prayers. And keep on praying. God wants to give you even more reasons to celebrate!
